This impressive manufacturer turns over in excess of 200 million headquartered in East Lancashire. They have multiple sites in the UK, all with different manufacturing purposes, a prominent and growing international presence, yet are still family owned with a real 'togetherness' culture. Their large finance team based near Accrington are looking to strengthen their team with a Credit Controller, who will manage their section of the ledger from start to finish.
This Credit Control job will be manage a high value ledger from when the sales invoice is issued right through to collecting payments, allocating them, reconciling and reporting on your ledger. You will build a relationship with the customers on your ledger, to ensure they have everything they need with no queries to ensure prompt payment.
This Credit Control job will work across multiple finance systems due to the gradual implementation of a new ERP system so you must be organisaed, system savvy and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be an integral part of the finance team and have a high degree of autonomy in your role however due to the size of their customer base, there is clear upward support you with any escalation customers.
They need someone who is calm, measured and able to build rapport internally and externally who is very well organised with previous credit control and sales ledger experience.
In return you'll receive a salary that is negotiable depending on experience, an enhanced holiday package, pension, and an early Friday finish at 2.30pm meaning your working week is only 35 hours.
