We are currently working with a 22 million T/O Manufacturing business who have plans to double their business size in the next 3 years. They are operating globally in industries with a product which will entirely support this growth, and have recently won awards for their focus and commitment to their employees.
Working in a team of 8 in total with an incredibly supportive Financial Controller and team, this Credit Control role is a new role to the Finance team due to the need of a more structured and continuous credit control process. The business offers an end-to-end service to their customers including design, manufacturing and an after service of maintenance and repair, and as such the accounts receivable ledger has a range of customers that need a different approach to ensure prompt payment whilst maintaining relationships. You will need to adopt a different process for the different types of customers, and ensure you take the time to understand these differences to ensure you adopt the correct approach.
You will need to be experienced with the standard credit control duties and have held responsibility for at least your own part of a ledger if you haven’t operated in a standalone credit control job. You will need to demonstrate your adaptability to a variation of customers, and show you have initiative and commercial acumen to understand when customers may need a softer approach to maintain relationships but ensure prompt payment.
This role will be contracted to part time / reduced hours, (between 22 and 30 max), working flexibly over 3 – 4 days with one of these days at home (if required) once fully settled in the position. Holidays are 25 days + bank pro rata, health insurance benefits and the organisation offer a range of services in their benefits package that promote well-being for employees.
