Strategic Talent Partner
A long-established and globally owned manufacturer in South Manchester is looking for Finance Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing and/or standard costing that’s looking for a stable role as the business continues with its improvement plans.
The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for delivering financial support to the manufacturing operations team at the Manchester site. This will involve supporting day to day activities and enabling informed decision making. Additionally you will be responsible for producing robust reporting and insightful analysis as well as being heavily involved in site initiatives through financial validation of projects and challenging assumptions. The role will also support the site in key activities in the financial calendar such as monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and the strategic plan process.
To be considered for this role, you will be towards the end of your professional qualifications (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or fully qualified with experience in manufacturing/engineering (ideal) and a working exposure to standard costing. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a pro-active enthusiastic finance professional to work closely with the Manchester operations team and get involved in multiple exciting initiatives and projects across the site to improve productivity and reduce unit cost.
