Production Manager

Role Summary

This is an excellent opportunity to join an international manufacturer where you will lead the Production Operations for the Skipton site and be well placed professionally to develop into the Head of Operations capacity in the coming years.

Job duties

• Reporting into the Head of Operations you will deliver the following key duties-
• Manage all day-to-day Production activities in the Skipton Operation maximising quality, productivity & efficiency and focus on customer delivery and quality requirements.
• Utilise best practice techniques. Ongoing review and monitoring of process methods to improve quality and efficiencies, including Lean Manufacturing & Best Practice techniques.
• Monthly reporting and budget development.
• Monitoring to ensure compliance with Environmental requirements
• Managing Health, Safety and welfare of employees to create and manage a safe working environment.

Looking for

You will be a Production / Manufacturing Manager professional seeking a new career challenge or alternatively a Production / Manufacturing Supervisor seeking a step forward from your career level. With a demonstrable track record of Production operations achievement, you will be experienced in leading teams across KPI, quality, best practice and HSE requirements. You will have excellent communication, engagement and motivation skills with a “lead from the front” mentality.
