Role Summary

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Manager with a well-established manufacturing company. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will lead a team of Purchasing and Supply Planning professionals to ensure the timely procurement of quality products at competitive prices.

Job duties
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining departmental strategies and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Leading a team of purchasing professionals, managing supplier relationships, price negotiation, and purchase orders.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and providing guidance on internal projects affecting productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Mitigating supply chain risk through effective supplier and vendor management, including contracts and service level agreements.
  • Monitoring global economic trends and emerging technologies to enhance supply chain performance.
  • Delivering cost savings while ensuring high-quality goods and services are consistently provided.
