Role Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Management Accountant to join a dynamic, high-growth business, backed by a leading Private Equity firm. As a key member of the finance department, you will report directly into the Group Financial Controller and play a vital role in owning the management accounts for the group whilst handling some statutory elements (primarily VAT returns) and support with payroll (prior experience in payroll is not a pre-requisite).

Job duties
  • Produce monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts with precision and regularity
  • Compile and analyse consolidated reports, including foreign exchange impact adjustments
  • Prepare and file VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions
  • Manage month-end processes such as accruals and prepayments
  • Analyse performance by investigating variances against forecasts or budgets
  • Deliver clear, actionable financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Continuously assess and enhance financial processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy
  • Contribute financial expertise to a variety of business and project initiatives as required
  • Collaborate closely with wider finance team to provide assistance and ensure smooth operations
Looking for
  • ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified candidate, must be an active studier
  • Manufacturing experience is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail, comfortable working duties to completion during month end
  • An appetite to learn and progress professional skillset
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable communicating with people at all levels within the company
